Online sources said that this was one of the fiercest baseball rivalries around so I took special care to dress in neutral colors - means no orange or blue. I was pretty excited to be in a derby, I had in my mind images of the Manchester derby, northwest derby (united vs pool), or on the higher end, Fenerbahçe vs Galatasaray or even Boca vs River Plate, where tribal fans have to be segregated and crowd trouble spills over at the slightest spark....

Well, this was one of the most family friendly sports event I've ever attended (beats even S-League). Both sets of fans are mixed together, some friendly banter here and there but overall, a very good natured event. To be honest, I'm slightly underwhelmed.

That being said, this was one of the most beautiful stadiums I've ever been to. AT&T Park is located right by the Bay and the surroundings look especially radiant in the evening sun.
